As a mother of three young daughters, Claire Hawkes certainly knows what it is like to have to juggle differing demands on her time.

Add into that the fact that she is the central point of direct contact for all BNI members in the region, and it is easy to understand why she almost always has a phone glued to her ear when she is in the office..!

"I am really loving this new role in the new BNI business", says Claire, "It reminds me of when I was running a busy Temp Desk in one of my early recruitment jobs - lots and lots of great personal contact, and always helping people get the best out of their situation".

For Claire, the BNI regional motto of "Putting Members 1st" is more than just a slogan - it is a way of life and a way of doing quality business.

"I started our recruitment business, Outlook Unlimited, 5 years ago, and I built it on the premise of Quality not Quantity. You have to treat people as PEOPLE, not just numbers or members. It is a foundation that I have carried over into all of the business activities I have done since - and BNI is no different".

As Members Director, Claire contacts every new member within 30 days to understand their business goals, and what BNI can do to help settle them in quickly, and to help get fast payback results FOR THEM. 

And if the phone usage is anything to go by, it certainly is as busy as a busy temp desk..!
